Alexandre Dumas, author of The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo once said of truffles, 'Learned men have been questioned as to the nature of this tuber, and after two thousand years of argument and discussion their answer is the same as it was on the first day: we do not know. The truffles themselves have been interrogated and have answered simply: eat us and praise the Lord.'
Join us at The Sanderson in August as we 'interrogate' the truffle with a 6-course menu designed by Head Chef James Green celebrating the closing of the truffle season 2024. From savoury to sweet, each course showcases the humble, earthy and illusive flavours of the truffle in a different way leaving you truly questioning - does everything taste better with truffle?
Whether you're an experienced gastronome or an adventurous food lover, the flavours of truffle are a journey that beckons you to explore the finest nuances of taste and aroma. The Sanderson's Truffle menu is a whole table set menu, and most dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.
Guests will also have access to our full a la carte menu should they wish to add any dishes onto the menu on the day.
