Mindfully well: health and wellness activity day 2022

Bring your family and friends to connect with health services and wellness activities in the neighbourhood. Please cycle in for free bike tune ups by Pedal Set Go from 10am to 1pm.

Talks and presentations

Connect with health services and listen to talks on chronic disease prevention and intervention strategies. Bookings aren't required.

  • 10.05am-10.15am Mindful meditation session - Australian College of Applied Professions

  • 10.15am-10.30am Exercise demonstration - Heal Program

  • 10.30am-10.45am Sleep health - Woolcock Institute

  • 10.45am-11.00am Gestational diabetes: Diabetes education in pregnancy - Migrant Communities Project by Diabetes Australia

  • 11am-midday Depression and building resilience - Black Dog Institute

  • Midday-12.15pm Understanding NDIS presented by NDIS

  • 12.15pm-12.45pm Brainstorming activity about forming groups, like walking groups -Heart Foundation and other groups

Plus face painting, from 10am to midday. Register to attend the event below. Bookings also recommended for the individual exercise and wellness activities.
