Zoe K Live @ The Midnight Special 2022

Zoe K '...A remarkable voice that pays tribute to the bygone greats of soul, jazz and blues. The dynamics in her voice are incredible!...' - Rhythms Magazine

That statement is only a few of the reasons why we invited Zoe back to The Midnight Special stage for our Grrrls to the Front series. Last year she played 2 sold out shows back to back, not only blowing us away with her vocal chops but also her mesmerising stage presence and comedic banter.

She is currently back in her homeland Australia after being based in New Orleans, a city that welcomed her music and saw her perform at some of New Orleans most renowned music venues, as well as being invited to sing alongside Kermit Ruffins.

Zoe K was also selected to perform at The French Quarter Festival sharing the festival line up with some of New Orleans greatest mainstays such as Irma Thomas, Soul Rebels, George Porter Jnr and Little Freddie KIng.

Before she tapped her stilettos and found herself in the Crescent City, the 1233 ABC Female Vocalist of The Year was based in Melbourne where she also completed her second album 'It's Just What I Like' mixed by the legendary Jack 'The Bear' Mantz and recorded in both New Orleans and Melbourne. Her time in Melbourne also saw her swooning audiences, supporting legendary acts such as Renee Geyer, Jon Cleary, Mojo Juju and playing at festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival.

Join us at The Midnight Special for a perfect night of music, sass and cocktails. Seats are limited so prebook and settle in early on the night to claim the best bar stools.
