Between Fantasy and Reality: Art in Terezin 2022

An expert talk on the Museum's recently donated acquisitions of art and literary works, illustrated by those interned in Terezin Concentration Camp during the Holocaust.

Discover the unique stories behind these items in our collection, including those currently on display in our feature exhibition, The Unknown Paintings of Fred Zeckendorf.

You will also have the opportunity to hear a moving firsthand account from Holocaust survivor Paul Drexler.

Dr Jana Vytrhlik is the Curator at the Rosenblum Jewish Museum. Paul Drexler is child survivor, who was incarcerated in Terezin. Roslyn Sugarman is the Head Curator at Sydney Jewish Museum.
